JOB 139: PCB DESIGNER III

Requirements:

  • 2-year associate degree in electronics plus 12 years relevant experience; OR 
  • 4-year bachelor degree in electrical engineering plus 8 years relevant experience
  • Altium and Allegro proficiency
  • CID certification and IPC standards knowledge
  • Excellent analysis skills, strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication in English (either native or fluent ESL).
  • Working knowledge of how electronics circuits and components work.​
  • Legally authorized to work in the USA, no relocation assistance available.
  • Working knowledge of computers in business (e-mail, text/spreadsheet editing).
  • Organization skills, taking pride and ownership in the workspace to keep it tidy and safe.

​​​Pay: $60k-100k 

WFH: Possible after 3 months

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Use CAD tools (Altium and Allegro) to create PCB layouts
  • Set up PCB constraints and rules per IPC standards and requirements
  • Read in net lists and DXF files for connectivity and mechanical 
  • Create footprints from data sheets per IPC standards
  • Place components according to best practices
  • Route traces according to best practices
  • Properly resolve all constraint violations and DRCs
  • Create drawings for manufacturing use
  • Generate Gerber files for manufacturing use
  • Self-manage multiple projects within given priorities
